School
If you're a student, there should also be a computer science/hacking club in almost every university and cegep. They give out workshops (job search, hacking...), participate in CTFs, hackathons (for programmers, developers), etc. I'd suggest picking a school that has a computer science club, as it's often a sign that their tech programs are established, well-developed, and regularly updated to reflect industry trends. Here are a few in Montreal:
Concordia University (HackConcordia);
Polytechnique de Montréal (PolyCyber);
McGill University (HackMcGill);
Université de Montréal (RHUM - on Discord);
Université du Québec à Montréal (AGEEI);
Cegeps have clubs too. ex. LaSalle College (INT,WINT), College de Bois-de-Boulogne (Club de sécurité informatique - CSI), Vanier College (Vanier CSSA)...
